Question: I can't see my videos. What's up?

Answer 1: Xbox Live servers may be experiencing issues. You can check the status here, but it may not be updated very quickly or accurately during outages. Xbox Live Status

Answer 2: Xbox Live Gold is required for videos to be uploaded to Microsoft servers.

Answer 3: You control sharing of clips through your Privacy & Family Safety settings:

  • From your computer:
    • Visit: Privacy Settings
    • If it doesn't direct you to this page, click on Privacy & online safety.
    • Scroll to See your Xbox profile (Xbox 360: Profile Sharing) and choose Everyone.
    • Scroll to See your game clips (Xbox Only) and choose Everyone.
    • Scroll to Others can see your activity feed and choose Everyone.
    • Scroll to You can see and upload community creations and choose Everyone.
    • (Optional for other site features) Scroll to See your friends list (Xbox 360: Friends List) and choose Everyone.
    • (Optional for other site features) Scroll to See if you're online (Xbox 360: Online Status) and choose Everyone.

Question: I can't see my achievements. What's up?

Answer: You control sharing of game history data through your Privacy & Family Safety settings:

  • From your computer:
    • Visit: Privacy Settings
    • Scroll to See your game and app history (Xbox 360: Game History) and choose Everyone.

Question: I signed up using a username other than my actual gamertag. Can I change it?

Answer: We don't allow direct changing of your gamertag in order to prevent abuse. However, you may email [email protected] and we will help you get it changed over!
