Question: I can't see my videos. What's up?

Answer 1: Xbox Live Gold is required for videos to be uploaded to Microsoft servers.

Answer 2: You control sharing of clips through your Privacy & Family Safety settings:

  • From your computer:
    • Visit: Privacy Settings
    • Scroll to See your game clips (Xbox One Only) and choose Everybody.
    • Then visit: Xbox One Settings
    • Scroll to Share game clips and choose Allow.
    • Scroll to Share outside of Xbox Live and choose Allow.
  • From your Xbox One:
    • Say “Xbox, Go to Settings,” or select Settings from the Home screen.
    • Select Privacy & family safety.
    • Select Customize.
    • Select Share game clips and screenshots.
    • Choose to Allow or Block.

Question: I can't see my achievements. What's up?

Answer: You control sharing of game history data through your Privacy & Family Safety settings:

  • From your computer:
    • Visit: Privacy Settings
    • Scroll to See your game and app history and choose Everybody.

Question: I signed up using a username other than my actual gamertag. Can I change it?

Answer: We don't allow direct changing of your gamertag in order to prevent abuse. However, you may email support@xboxdvr.com and we will help you get it changed over!
